Redwood Surgical Clinic is an Outpatient Department of Redwood Memorial Hospital, located in a separate building, just left of the main hospital entrance. Se habla español.

After Hours: Professional staff is on-call 24 hours a day for active patients who are registered with the clinic. After hours, patients may reach the provider on call through the answering service by calling (707) 725-9832.

Dr. Cassandra Kennedy is a general surgeon who obtained her medical education from Chicago Medical School in 1992. She did her internship and residency at Kern Medical Center in California from 1992-97. She is board certified and has been practicing in Fortuna since 1999.

Dr. Paul Stauffer specializes in laparoscopic colon surgery and hernia repair. His undergrad work was completed at UC Davis, and he attended Jefferson Medical College. His residency was performed at York Hospital. Dr. Stauffer is a member of the World Surgical Foundation, and he annually travels overseas providing surgical care to the underserved.

Financial Policy
We accept all payer types and we are participating providers with many insurance plans. We bill all insurance plans as a courtesy. We expect payment at the time of service for co-payments. All other balances are due within 30 days of the date of service. You will be responsible for providing your billing information at each visit so we can verify your coverage. Services not covered by your insurance will be provided on a cash payment basis.
